Branding, Identity & Marketing

RiNo, River North Art District

Founded by Tracy Weil and Hadley Hooper, RiNo has been built from the ground up; creating a major cultural organization in the City and County of Denver. The organization began in 2005 with 8 members, currently RiNo boasts over 60 creative businesses and over 200 different artist that live and work in the district.

Weilworks regularly creates compelling visuals for the organization’s special events and marketing pieces. Incorporating an aggressive strategy that includes community building techniques, a useful online presence, marketing, public relations, press releases and irresistible print collateral. RiNo has become a successful nationwide model for art districts around the country. The University of Pennsylvania is using the River North Art District model as part of its latest national study on creating cultural destinations.

The River North Art District yearly attendance for Studio Tours, Events and First Fridays has grown to over 25,000 people per year.

Denver Arts Week, Visit Denver

VISIT DENVER is a private, nonprofit trade association that is responsible for marketing metro Denver as a convention and leisure destination. The Bureau is contracted by the City and County of Denver to act as the official marketing agency for Denver. 

In collaboration with Visit Denver, Weil recently re-branded the city wide Denver Arts Week campaign. Much like Denver Restaurant Week, Denver Arts Week this eight day celebration of the city’s vibrant arts and culture scene included programming like Know your Arts First Friday, Saturday Night at the Museums and Sunday’s on Stage. Established in 2007, Denver Arts Week’s branding was in need of a fresh face lift that would capture the elegance and whimsy of this major cultural event.

Working with Vice President of Tourism Jayne Buck, Weil created a campaign thrusting this event into the local and national spotlight. 8 art districts, 12 museums and over ten other cultural institutions participated including the Denver Zoo, Denver Center for Performing Arts and the Starz Denver Film Festival.

Besides creating the logo and art directing illustrated icons created by Hadley Hooper, Weil also served as a consultant on the use of these branding tools. Weilworks assisted Visit Denver in creating a well rounded and affective campaign that not only promoted the general public to engage in the arts community, but is also helping the City of Denver and the State of Colorado become recognized globally as a cultural destination.


Denver County Fair!

The Denver County Fair honors the fine traditions and values of America’s county fairs, which have been enjoyed by millions of people for over 100 years. The Denver County Fair is an annual event which encourages
Denver citizens to bring out their best.

The Denver County Fair is a place to share ideas, traditions, creativity, local culture and innovation. The Fair highlights the talents, trends, diversity and interests of the residents of our amazing City and County. The Denver County Fair celebrates Denver’s unique character and reflects it back to the community in a spirit of celebration and healthy competitive fun.

The Denver County Fair is an annual event held at the National Western Stock Show Complex each Summer. 

Tracy Weil serves as the Marketing and Community Director for the Denver County Fair. This includes creating and art directing all branding and marketing collateral for the fair each year. In collaboration with Dana Cain, they have brought the Denver County Fair into the National and International spotlight for it's revival and reinvention of an American Classic!
